Maybe you are confused with a wide selection of web hosting on the net. Not to mention thousand of web hosting companies around the world. If you don’t believe me, you can enter “web hosting company” on the search engine and you can spot thousand company around the world offered their web hosting services. All of them try to convince that they are the best web hosting company, which make you more confuse to choose. That’s why you need to be able to choose the best web hosting company that suit for your website need.

What should be considered in selecting the best web hosting company?
Before you choose to use a particular web hosting service note the features provided by web hosting

1. Company Presence

A good Web hosting company provides complete location, since when established, were new or old. I recommend you not to have a contract with a new web hosting, cause when your web hosting company bankrupt, all or partial data gonna lose.

2. Up Time
Web hosting is good to have uptime 99%, upward, which means web hosting servers are rarely down so that your web page can not be load. You do not want to have a website that hardly opened, this will eliminate your customer

3. 24h Support
If you need any time you can confirm if there is a problem in the server which make your website cannot load.

4. Location server
This is related to your target market. The closer your target market with a location server is the faster response time in opening your web page.

5. Note the features provided
If your site uses PHP and MySQL then seek that meet these criteria.

6. Choosing a web hosting package customized to the needs
How much disk quota, bandwidth, and email accounts that are needed as this will affect the price of course. Disk Quota / Disk space is the size of html, php files and other supporting files such as images, etc. that can be uploaded to the server (such as hard disk on the CPU) while the bandwidth is the amount of data size that can be opened via the Internet every month. Suppose the bandwidth offered is 1Gb, and the web pages size on the average are approximately 10kB per page, it means that web pages can be opened as much as 100000 times in one month (1Gb divided 10kB)

For free web hosting I still recommend 000webhost because it’s free but has complete facilities 1500Mb disk space, 100GB bandwidth, supported by PHP, MySQL. But if you want more facilities then I suggest iPower Web Hosting or IX web hosting, both are web hosting companies who can be trusted with various AWARD which has been established.

“…bandwidth adalah besarnya file yang dapat dibuka melalui internet setiap bulan. Misalkan bandwidth yang ditawarkan 1Gb sementara halaman web yang dibuka 10kb, maka berarti halaman web tersebut dapat dibuka sebanyak 100000kali dalam 1bulan (1Gb dibagi 10kb).”

Thanksss Broooo… tipsnya berguna banget buaat saya.. akhirnya mancikarang.sch.id bisa juga di hosting, mao

cerita sedikit yah, sekalian berbagi pengalaman:

awalnya sempet bingung pilih layanan webhosting yang mana, tapi setelah baca tips ini pikiran saya jadi terbuka dan saya memilih eazysmart.com sebagai web hosting saya.
untuk hosting di eazysmart.com kita dapat memilih 2 server yakni IIX dan server USA, dan saya pilih yang
IIX, karena untuk website sekolah yang mayoritas pengaksesnya dari INA.
