The use of Website as Global MEDIA (I)

The use of website now has expanded compared to last years. Website is not just providers of information, there are various other uses that we can use. Despite having many functions but unfortunately not everyone in Indonesia is able to use website properly. Although now many of us have started ‘global conscious’ but far more who do not understand about using the website as a global media. Before we discuss the website development process, it helps a lot if we learn first why website is mentioned as the global media. Website as a global media, pointing to the role of the Internet or website to link worldwide. In this sense, we can conlude all the information in the website or websites we make in Indonesia or even in the smallest city in Indonesia can be accessible to all countries on earth. It means no more boundaries (no more limitations). Therefore, it can be ascertained that the internet media or website turn into something vital towards the globalization of 2010. Some Indonesian people who start to realize this, start trying to learn to create their own website. That’s why this website was made.

To start making your website at least you need to have knowledge of HTML programming. But do not worry for those of you who are not experienced in programming, because now many making website software is simple and easy to use. Even, with these programs you can create a simple website, without the need to have HTML programming language though. Some of these programs such as Dreamweaver, Front Page, NVU, web page maker. Dreamweaver is probably the most complete but a bit hard to learn while web page maker the most easy to learn but I think less complete, so I better suggest you use the frontpage. Install your frontpage in advance, because we will try to create a website with frontpage. Follow the next tutorial.

P.S. if you do not have the Front Page software you can download NVU only as a temporary substitute for the learning process only
